SUMMARY and SUGGESTION
I'm the type of person who can’t stand without someone to lean or hold on and I always doubt myself because I have a lot of can’ts running inside my head. But now, the experience I had in the SEA- TEACH program is like I'm a free bird from a cage. Without my parents, I was able to stand with my own feet. I was able to manage my own money and it feels like I already had a job.

Aside from the fulfillment of becoming an independent person, another overwhelming experience I had is to experience this kind of exposure. Teaching Mathematics with Indonesian students where they use bahasa language is very challenging yet enormous. I learned so many things in life and even in their educational system. I was able to compare the educational system there and in the Philippines, I was able to experience a taste of Indonesian culture as vividly seen in the eyes of every students there. I was able to know more Muslim people.(We keep on stereotyping Muslims as "terrorists"but in reality, they are not. They are even hospitable)

Language, culture, and religion is not a stumbling block to all of us. It strengthen our identity and it doesn't hinder us to communicate. Kindness and tolerance with each other is a universal language that everyone will be able to understand. In communication, we need to use every part of our body just to effectively deliver a message.

Indeed, the SEA-teach experience changed my perspectives and even transformed me into an independent person who’s not afraid to take a dip in the unknown side of the sea and explore greater opportunities to transform my BIG cant’s to cans. My SEA-TEACH experience also thought me a lot of life lessons, VALUES and gave me wonderful insights which are all essential to my personal growth as a young would-be-teacher. And now I think that I am ready to teach minds, touch hearts and transform hundreds of lives to my soon-to-be students

I miss my family there in Pontianak- our buddies (Agus, Awista, Febry, Mita, Risky, and Uli) who are our "Go Jek drivers" and our Kakaks and Bangs. I miss also the teachers who always there for us, especially to Ma'am Lisda who treated us as her real sons. I gain a lot of memories in Pontianak and I will cherish all of these memories. Aku Ingat Kamu dan Aku Cinta Kamu! (I will remember you and I love you!)

Purposes and Outcomes of the Practicum:
The practicum in other country satisfied the objectives of the program most especially the first and the third objectives. The purpose of the practicum is not just about traveling but it is like a cultural exchange that we are able to expose in diversity. Also, the program helped me to improve my teaching pedagogy and helped me to gain confidence - I was able to experience a school with different religions and that experience will help me on how to deal with them and gain my openness to diversity.

Procedures of Practicum:
The schedule of the practicum is well planned. It is good that the first week is observation and the rest weeks are teaching hours. However, it could have been better if they give a clear number of hours, times, or periods. Much better if it 20 periods than 20 hours because it is more possible to finish 20 teachings when periods are counted.

Challenges of the Practicum:
The challenges of the Practicum is on how are we able to communicate. Many Indonesians doesn't know how to speak in English and the challenge is how will I communicate with them. Through the help of our buddies, they taught us some basic bahasa that will help us in communicating with people. Also, with the use of body language and interpreter, I was able to teach my students. So, the challenge of the practicum is more on communicating. If you're so good in English but the students can't understand you, you should adjust and that is the big challenge.

Suggestions:
1. The accommodation of the university. Maybe, it could have better if all universities are aware of the programs and what to give with the student-teachers.
2. 20 periods

Overall, I want to congratulate the committees for the successful programs. Actually, I will recommend this project to other education students who wants to experience a different kind of exposure.
