Curriculum plays an important role in making a teaching plan.
The Indonesian Lesson Plan consists of different parts and procedures.
First, Stating the core competencies that is provided according to the Kurrikulum 2013 revision. The core competencies are statement that would like to achieve as morals and values that the students have during their learning practice Then they decide the basic competencies that are almost similar with the core competencies yet the basic competencies will be more specific into a particular moral values that the students need to achieve. Then, followed by the Achievement Indicator Competencies, Objectives of the lesson, Materials/ Content of the Lesson, Enrichment material, Remedial material, Teaching Method/Strategy, Media and Equipment, The Sources of Learning, Steps of Learning ( Preactivity, whilst activity, closing activity), and Measurement and Evaluation.
Their lesson plan is very lengthy and sometimes it can be 5 or more pages. That is why most of the teachers there will say that it's very tiring to make a lesson plan.
Another observation, one thing I noticed about the content of the curriculum is that their topics is easier compared to the topics in the Philippines. The social arithmetic that I discussed in Grade 7 is actually the topic we have in Grade 4.
