Meeting with the Dean of Faculty of Education

We went to the Faculty of Education to meet Mr. Urai Salam, our coordinator, at his office. After that, we have to meet the dean of the faculty of Education but unfortunately, the dean was not available that time so we need to go back at 1:00 PM.

So, in the afternoon, the dean with Mr. Urai Salam welcomed us to Universitas Tangjungpura (UNTAN) as our receiving University. We introduced ourselves. Me and Gelo are in the same university - Ateneo de Naga University. I am mathematics major while Gelo is Physics and the other one is Carl in Mindoro, an english major.

Finally we got the chance to know our buddies. They are not just our buddies but also our "drivers"

The university provided a free transportation for us and these English major buddies will serve as our transportation from the dormitory to the assigned school and vice versa. Also, if we want to go somewhere, they will be there to drive us.

3 Filipinos and 3 Indonesian buddies : Risky, Gelo, Agus, Me, Awista, and Carl

Little by little, I got to know them one by one and they are just like filipinos talking with each other with different language. Risky, who is our best tour guide. He is so good in History especially the history of Pontianak; Agus, who is our comedian. He taught us to sing the Sambalado song. Awista, who has a good pronounciation, and Mita, who is a singer. It was overwhelming to know them. They are older than us for 1 year so they are our Kakak (sister) and Bang (brother). It's so fun also to taste the Nasi Goreng at the cafeteria which is very spicy. WOOOH!
